The pathway

Interest, eligibility review, screening, training, site authorization, assignment, supervision, documentation, renewal, and removal procedures protect participants and volunteers.

What mentors do

Support agreed goals, listen respectfully, encourage follow-through, document required contacts, ask for supervision, and route concerns through approved channels.

What mentors must not do

Secret meetings, private loans, unauthorized transportation or housing, dual relationships, social-media contact, diagnosis, investigation, legal direction, coercive religious activity, or misuse of participant stories.
